24/7 Rules

From time to time, a 24/7 title match will take place provided someone wants to challenge. Also, in the event of a vacant 24/7 Title, there will be an event held for someone else to win the Title. This page will give an understanding for the rules regarding both instances.

24/7 Title Rules

To challenge for the 24/7 Title, you will need to: have 75 Tournament Points, find a Senior Referee, Operator, or Admin to sponsor it, and say, “I challenge for the 24/7 Title” to make it official. This way there is no confusion.

During events, the Champion does NOT have to defend his or her title. This does not include title matches if they’re not in them.

24/7 Title matches are “Named Superstar” format. You may only play one Superstar! The current Champion gets the “advantage” of knowing the Superstar you intend to use when challenging, like any other title match.

If an incorrect Superstar is used in the match, that competitor will lose the match. If the competitor wants to rename his or her Superstar, it is up to the opponent.

Each Title win is worth 7 points; each defense is worth 15 points. That meaning, if there is a new Champion, he or she will recieve 7 points. If the Champion retains, he or she will receive 15 points.

There is no time limit on the 24/7 Title Match. However, there will only be a 10 minute time period allowed before the match has to begin after it has been made official.

In the event the Champion is not ready by this 10 minute time period, refuses to accept the challenge, or any of the like, the Challenger will win the title without a 2-hour “safety” period. This meaning, the Challenger will win the Title, but may be challenged right after.

After winning or retaining the 24/7 Title outside of the above condition, the Champion will have a two-hour “safety” period in which he or she does not have to defend. A Champion may refuse to play during this time. However it is not a requirement to refuse to play during this allotted time. You may choose to waive it.

Turn limits will be set to NO TURN LIMIT.

The following match types are BANNED match types for the 24/7 Title: Backlash, End of Battle Royal, and Table.

You may choose a match type when you win the 24/7 Title outside of the above. That meaning, you can pick the match type only when you win it. This does not include after you have defended. This also means that you may change the match type as much as you like, so long as you have not defended it yet (in your current title reign). For example: you win it, pick Hardcore, and the next day, you decide to change it to I Quit. You can do this if you have not defended it yet since winning it the day before.

In the event the match is a draw or the current Champion does not come on the server for 7 days, the Title will be vacated, and an event will be held later (at no specific time) for someone else to claim it. This does not include instances where the Champion was online and no one challenged him or her. It is not the fault of the Champion if no one challenges for the Title.

24/7 Event Rules

The 24/7 Event is a “Named Superstar” format tournament. You may only play one Superstar!

You may, however, change and edit your Playbooks throughout the tournament, but you may not change the Superstar.

The 24/7 Event is SINGLE-ELIMINATION, not swiss. When you draw, you and your opponent are eliminated, and both of you will not advance to the next round.

You do not recieve any Tournament Points for wins or draws during the tournament.

There is no time limit on the rounds. However, you have 10 minutes to start your games from the beginning of the round.

The last player left standing wins the tournament and is the new 24/7 Title Champion! There is no Title Match. The new Champion will then be allowed to choose a new match type for the Title. The new Champion also gets the same two-hour “safety” like the usual 24/7 Title win.

If the finalists draw, the title is left vacant, and a new 24/7 event will take place at another time.

Turn limits will be set to NO TURN LIMIT.

All games are played RANKED and in the arena that the last Champion chose as a match type! If the last Champion’s chosen match type was I Quit, the arena for the event will be that of I Quit also.
