Conduct Policy

In an effort to avoid biases and give you an idea as to what to expect in violating rules, a conduct policy exists. The conduct policy outlines the various levels of action that is taken, what sort of rules fall under each, as well as defines what each level of severity is all about. Please read this page very carefully.

Warning

A warning is given for minor violations. A warning may consist of a simple warning in the chat or it may be a kick from the chat room that the violation occurred. Warnings are meant to give you a chance to look over the Code of Conduct and other various terms, rules, and guidelines that are in place. It is a good idea to look over those again to avoid any issues in the future. If violations persist, the action(s) taken will increase. It would be wise to not ignore these warnings.

Some violations that might get a warning on first offense:

  • Abuse, Harassment, Crude behavior, etc. towards officials or other players
  • Racial slurs, comments, etc.
  • Spamming of any kind
  • Posting sexually explicit images or otherwise offensive content
  • Creating Rooms (when you are not a staff member)

3 Hour Ban

A 3-Hour Ban is used most often when a player has repeated an action he/she has been previously warned for. These are to reinforce the importance of the rules and the importance that everyone follow them. If the various terms, rules, and guidelines that are in place were not read when a warning was given, now is a good time to read them over. The action(s) taken will only increase the more a violation occurs.
